My Story
If you are curious about me personally let me tell you why I want to assist you creating harmony with yourself and your space.
I am Lebanese, born in Iraq as back then it was safer then Lebanon for my parents to start a family (Lebanon had a civil war until 1991). However the place we thought was safe wasn't and our life, the one my parents worked so hard for, collapsed overnight due to the Gulf War.
They lost their businesses, our home and all our belongings as we had to escape with nothing, just a few cases with clothes. We flew to Cyprus where we lived for around a year, a transitionary home between Iraq and Lebanon.
This was my first experience with the feeling of loosing yourself and the space you called home. I was only 9 years young and had to try to reinvent myself.
We eventually moved to Lebanon sometime in 1991, where I had not only to accept that this is where I actually come from, but also learn to read and write Arabic at the age of 10.
Years later when I though we were kind of settled, arrives the war in 2006. We had the opportunity to escape and restart our lives in the United Kingdom.
I have moved around 16 times and lived in four countries, all shaping me into who I am as an individual. But the main thing it gave me was the true meaning of home. An understanding that it is a feeling not a location.
And that's why I am here to help you create home wherever you are and accept that it will change and evolve with you.
Wars have taught me something beautiful. Which is if you loose a home or material things that you were so attached to, its a good thing. Because now you will get to know how to search for your true self in the void and create a stronger home that you will never loose again.
I wasn’t your typical child or what society would like to call clever, had good grades at school and wear a uniform.
In fact I really disliked uniforms and schools because we are all forced to fit in the same box regardless our unique interests and skills.
I loved Art, Clothes and everything about home from a very young age.
Watching my mum create a beautiful home wherever we moved to, made me fall in love with design and the impact it has on our mood.
So I decided to follow my passion and accomplish an interior Design degree in 2005. I LOVED every day of my five years at university!
However due to the war in 2006 in Lebanon, I moved to the UK and started working for a big fashion retailer for twelve years learning new skills as a visual merchandising expert.
In 2018 I have decided to leave London and move to the North West of England and live in the countryside and reinvent a life I want.
Now I help individuals and businesses with their vision and make their dreams come true through design.
